| This is just a small sample of
the wonderful stories that came out of our Boathouse storytelling. At the
end of the sessions, there was time for some of the groups to tell their
stories to the rest of us, and that was a real treat. This last one is
a story that a lot of people enjoyed since, after it had been told, I retold
it to other children in several other sessions. It’s a story about Merlin
and his pet seagull, a story to be treasured by all environmentalists who
would be as shocked as we were by the amount of dog-mess and litter on
the grassy banks between the bottom of Laugharne castle and the sea: |
